What is BFIRL?

When I explain BFIRL to anyone I lead simply with, it’s hard to make friends as adults, so why not bring people together?

Helping you to make friends as adults and bringing you together through wholesome, in-real-life evens.

I feel incredibly lucky to have the community that I do online and on a random Thursday in January BFIRL was born. Well, I set up the Instagram anyway!

I figured people are likely following me for similar reasons: maybe they love comfy style or are big Disney fans. They may be partial to a bit of snack chat (we love a meal deal) or are mums themselves. Whatever the reason, I thought there must be people in my community that would get on like a house on fire!

My Facebook group was the first stage. Which allows anyone apart of the community to ask a wider audience. I love getting DM’s asking for Disney World recc’s or advice on what lipstick to buy. But, I loved the idea that anyone following me could benefit from lots more opinions. And it’s become such a lovely space on the internet.

It was from there that the idea to do something IRL was planted in my mind and with my maternity leave in full flow, I thought what better time than now?
